While in my 88th year of this life, the time has come when it is necessary for me to take a look at life in general and my life I particular. I suppose that all of us begin to think of all of the things we would have hoped to accomplish in our lifetimes but as the demands of living occupied our time, we never got “a-round to it”. Life is full of good intentions such as, to get an advanced degree in order to better serve and inform society to improve my family life, to volunteer more at social events, to buy a sail boat, too become a writer, to practice becoming more proficient in sports, or to become an artist, to name a few.
The sum of our lives are compiled in the choices we make with the freedom we have or because of the freedom taken from us unjustly. Remember, those freedoms that we have lost justly, by the choices we made in determining our lives, have directed not only our own life but many thousands of others that we have been associated with, whether family or friends or even enemies.
With this Blog, I will address the insights that have come to me with the ongoing changes in our society today. How tradition can either shape the future for the betterment ol mankind or for it’s demise. It is up to you in your choices throughout life which direction this world will take.
